We are currently seeking a " Graphic Designer" who will be effective and compelling design of catalog marketing pages and covers, new direct mail and online advertising, website design, and print products design for multiple SmartPractice brands..

Skills and Requirement
Essential functions of the job (in order of importance):
1. Transform marketing and creative briefs into outstanding creative solutions. Design innovative catalog covers, print products and advertising materials at the direction of the Art Director and per Marketing‚s requirements
2. Follow art direction and collaborate with designers, copywriters and other team members. Follow established process for routing, managing and producing products, including pre-production work.
3.Be able to sketch and use creative knowledge to determine the best design approach that most effectively meets objectives, deadlines and remains within the designated budget.
4. Follow and complete the process for foil and emboss dies, die-lines, box packaging and custom large format products while communicating effectively with the Art Director, sales team and outside vendors to meet these deadlines.
5. Be committed to self-improvement and help train others in procedures and skills. Stay on top of advancements in software, creative techniques and printing requirements. Research and initiate ways to improve pre-production.
6. Maintain an open line of communication with the Art Director, Coordinators, Vendors and Premedia to create a consistent workflow.
7.Maintain a positive attitude and exercise flexibility as required by the production schedule.
Requirements:
Education: 4-year college degree with major emphasis in graphic design or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experiences (work or education):3 or more years of experience in design of catalogs, direct mail, print and digital advertising and website design. Educational background or work experience in marketing and communications desirable.
Characteristics: Highly developed conceptual and creative person with ability to follow direction and communicate effectively with members of various departments. Excellent design skills and detailed attention to precision in layout. Must possess excellent time management and problem-solving skills, prioritize workload and successfully execute multiple projects simultaneously. Possess flexible design styles with the ability to work across various markets. Must be able to establish self as integral contributing member in team environment.
Skills Needed: Proficiency in QuarkXPress, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Must have realistic and traditional illustration skills by hand as well as with the computer. Clear understanding of print production techniques and processes. Must have good organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and marketing managers. Ability to multitask, adhere to legal requirements, production schedules, deadlines and budgets is essential.
