We are currently seeking a Premedia Production Technician to complete the production and data processing of all new products. This includes reviewing designs for any potential problems, fixing any issues and communicating to design team. Taking same designs and running a series of programs to create the personalization data and templates, catalog comps and final print images. Photo/Color retouching as needed for Apparel along with proofing product. Some audio, video and photography may occassionally be required.

Essential functions of the job:
STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILTIES
1. Prepare files for production and output. (Preflight)
2. Process files to create templates and data using custom applications and workflow.
3. Route files and complete necessary paperwork, tracking progress in tracking system.
4. Color correct, run color proofs (EPSON) and assist with checking in files for Color Approvals.
5. Assist with modification, recreation, reprocessing of, or searching for files needed for Print Manufacturing.
6. Other tasks as assigned by Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: College degree in Graphic Arts or equivalent job experience
Experiences (work or education): Graphic Design/Production background, Photo/Color retouching, Printing process. Photography, Image manipulation and color correcting a plus.
Characteristics: Self starter, Motivated, excellent communicator and team player. Must be detail and deadline oriented.
Skills Needed: Desktop Publishing experience and proficient with associated software including but not imited to: Quark Xpress, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesgin. Must be a quick learner with the ability to adapt to change.
